For the first time … The Equestrian Federation activate the Disciplinary Committee

The Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation (UREEF) held its inaugural meeting of the Disciplinary Committee, on Monday in Abu Dhabi, as its ongoing process in pursuit of measures to protect the horses from all sorts of physical abuse.

The Disciplinary Committee preserves the rights of the competitors, trainers and any other body involved safeguarding their right to dispute on all issues related to the sport event.

The Head of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Rissi, said that such decisions are in the interest of the equestrian sport in general and Endurance in particular and anticipates that it will continue all its efforts to ensure a clean sport environment making the sport remain on top.

Al Raesi expressed his content at the presence of proficient legal competitors in the Committee.  He thanked the leadership for its continuous support in the development of the sport and anticipated that it should go on till the sport stays continuously topmost.
